Bike4Health is returning to the park to provide your bike with an essential health check.
To keep in line with social distancing rules we will be operating a one-way system at the Quorum Park Events Cabin, only the bike mechanics will be permitted inside the Cabin and railings.
There will be a cleaning station with hand sanitiser and surface sanitiser to spray down your bike before handing it over.
The procedures in place are to keep you and the mechanics safe.
Book your drop off time slot between 8:00am and 10:00am and collect between 12:00pm and 2:00pm as allocated.
Our friendly and helpful bike mechanic/experts, will carry out basic bicycle servicing to help you keep you pedaling. Most minor problems can be fixed on the spot, with more major problems diagnosed and a bike “MOT” provided.
The team will carry out a 20 point check over, adjusting what is required and supplying and fitting small consumable parts. Each bicycle will receive a detailed feedback form, informing the bicycle owner of what work has been carried out and what additional work is required.
If your bike requires any further attention you can leave your bike with the mechanic to take away and pay for extra repairs, parts, and services. All which will be carried out within a couple of working days and your bike will be returned to Quorum.
2. Simple Repairs - £10
If you would like the mechanic to carry out simple repairs on the day such as fixing a puncture or replacing a tyre there is a charge of £10 for the labour plus parts (you can supply your own parts). They can also fit accessories such as mudguards or lights that you have purchased elsewhere.
3. Cable Brake Service - £15
Inner cables replaced, outer cables lubricated. Pads checked, aligned and replaced as required. Note: Your bike will be taken away to the Bike4Health workshop.
4. Hydraulic Brake Service - £35
Brakes bled, fluid replaced. Pads checked, aligned and replaced as required. Note: Your bike will be taken away to the Bike4Health workshop.
5. Cable Gear Service - £15
Inner cables replaced, outer cables lubricated, gears adjusted and aligned and drivetrain lubricated. Note: Your bike will be taken away to the Bike4Health workshop.
6. Drivetrain Service - £30
Gear adjustment, bottom bracket removed and re-greased and drive train lubricated. Plus, fitting of a chain, cassette/freewheel, front/rear mech, chainset, and bottom bracket as required. Note: Your bike will be taken away to the Bike4Health workshop.
